As the popularity of a previous hit release starts to wane, it's common for developers to release reskins to maintain momentum. Slingshot Studios has taken this approach with their Game of Thrones Power Stacks series, now three releases deep with Links of Fire being the latest. Links of Fire is essentially a reskin of Links of Ra, featuring the same theme and mechanics. The theme of ancient Egypt has been replaced with a more classic fruit theme, which may indicate a lack of enthusiasm compared to the original. The game retains the features and math model of the Ra version, with the Link&Win feature within the bonus round offering the best chance of winning big, doubling all prizes.
