Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway — Registration and Verification Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion Overview

• The Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway is a limited-time launch promotion available to eligible users in Alberta.
• To participate, users must create a Betty account, successfully complete identity verification, and meet all eligibility requirements outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
• Eligible verified users will be entered into the giveaway for a chance to receive the grand prize. Eligible verified users may also receive a guaranteed consolation reward, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry Requirements

To be entered into the Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway, you must:

• Register for a Betty account during the promotion period;
• Successfully complete identity verification;
• Be at least 18 years old;
• Be physically located in Alberta;
• Meet all applicable eligibility requirements under Betty’s Terms of Use;
• Not be excluded, in Time Out, Restricted, Suspended, or otherwise prohibited from using Betty (Betty.ca or Betty.com).

Users who submit all required verification documentation before the giveaway deadline but whose verification is still under manual review at the time of winner selection will be provisionally included in the eligible entrant pool. If their verification is subsequently approved, they will receive the guaranteed consolation reward. They will not be eligible for the grand prize draw unless their verification is fully approved before winner selection takes place.

3. No Purchase or Wagering Requirement

No purchase, deposit, or wagering is required to enter the Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway.
Completing registration and identity verification is required for eligibility, but making a deposit or placing a wager will not increase your chances of winning.

4. Promotion Period

• Giveaway registration is expected to open on June 1, 2026.
• The winner is currently expected to be selected on July 21, 2026, subject to regulatory approval, market launch timing, operational requirements, and any applicable legal or regulatory changes.
• Betty reserves the right to modify, delay, suspend, or cancel the promotion where required.

5. Prize Details

The intended prize structure for the Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway is:

• Grand Prize: $100,000 cash prize awarded to one eligible verified user.
• Guaranteed Consolation Reward: 1,000 Betty Coins awarded to each eligible verified user who qualifies for the promotion but does not receive the grand prize.

All prize and reward details are subject to final approval, regulatory requirements, and Betty’s official promotion rules.

6. Winner Selection

• One eligible verified user will be selected at random from all eligible verified entrants.
• The winner selection is expected to take place on July 21, 2026.
• The odds of receiving the grand prize depend on the number of eligible verified entrants.

7. Winner Notification

• The selected winner will be contacted using the email address associated with their Betty account.
• Betty may require the selected winner to complete additional verification, confirmation, or administrative steps before the prize is awarded.
  If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within seven (7) days of notification, is found to be ineligible, or fails to satisfy any required verification or compliance checks, Betty may select an alternate winner.
• Any alternate winner selected will also be subject to the same seven (7) day response requirement and all other eligibility and verification requirements described in these Terms and Conditions.

8. Consolation Reward

• Eligible verified users who do not receive the grand prize are expected to receive a guaranteed consolation reward of 1,000 Betty Coins.
• The consolation reward will be credited directly to eligible users’ Betty accounts after the promotion ends.
• Betty Coins have no cash value unless otherwise stated in Betty’s official terms, and may be subject to usage restrictions.

9. One Entry Per Person

• Each eligible user may receive only one entry into the Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway.
• Multiple accounts, duplicate entries, fraudulent activity, identity mismatches, or attempts to manipulate the promotion may result in disqualification.

10. Account and Verification Requirements

• Users must complete Betty’s required identity verification process to be eligible.
• Betty may require users to provide information or documentation to confirm identity, age, location, and eligibility.
• Users must submit all required verification documentation before July 21, 2026 to be considered for the promotion. Betty will make reasonable efforts to process all verification submissions before the winner selection date. Where manual review cannot be completed before winner selection, users with pending verification at that time will be eligible for the consolation reward only, provided their verification is subsequently approved. Betty cannot guarantee processing timelines for manual verification submitted close to the deadline.

11. Verification Processing Timelines

• Betty operates both automated and manual identity verification processes. While automated verification is completed in real time, manual verification may take additional time to process. Betty will endeavour to complete all pending manual reviews within 2 business days of submission. Users are encouraged to submit verification documentation as early as possible to avoid delays. Betty accepts no liability for a user’s failure to qualify due to incomplete verification where that user did not submit the required documentation in sufficient time to allow for processing.

12. Location and Age Restrictions

The promotion is available only to users who are:

• At least 18 years old; and
• Located in Alberta.

Users outside Alberta are not eligible to participate in the giveaway.

13. Changes, Delays, or Cancellation

• The Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway is subject to Alberta market launch timing, regulatory requirements, government policy, and operational readiness.
• Betty reserves the right to modify, delay, reschedule, suspend, or cancel the promotion if required due to regulatory, legal, technical, operational, or business reasons.

14. Disqualification

Betty reserves the right to disqualify any user who:

• Provides false, incomplete, or misleading information;
• Fails identity, age, location, or compliance checks;
• Creates multiple accounts;
• Attempts to manipulate or abuse the promotion;
• Violates Betty’s Terms of Use;
• Is restricted, self-excluded, suspended, or otherwise ineligible.

15. General Terms

• Betty’s general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply.
• By participating in the Betty Alberta Launch Giveaway, users agree to these Terms and Conditions and any applicable official promotion rules.
• In the event of any conflict between these promotional Terms and Conditions and Betty’s general Terms of Use, the more specific promotion terms will apply, unless otherwise required by law or regulation.
