The best new slot games to play this September
Here’s what’s worth playing this month.
Your usual games aren’t going anywhere, but if you’re in the mood to try an online slot you haven’t seen before, these are six of the newest arrivals worth a spin.
1. Alpha Gods Zeus 2 Wild Surge™
RTP: 94.01%
Volatility: High
Min. bet: $0.20
Max bet: $100
Max win: 5,000x
Provider: Games Global
Available in: Ontario and Alberta
Most sequels front-load their best trick, but Wild Surge does the opposite.
It opens plain, with lightning turning a cluster wild, then a counter unlocks stronger versions as you play: wild rows, crosses, respins, low symbols stripped out, and multipliers up to 10x.
2. Dragons of Arcane Wild II™
RTP: 94.31%
Volatility: Medium
Min. bet: $0.20
Max bet: $20
Max win: 25,000x
Provider: Games Global
Available in: Ontario and Alberta
Medium volatility and a 25,000x ceiling is an unusual pairing, and the three eggs hold the features.
Each opens a different bonus route, while cash collect handles the base game: wisps drop 0.5x to 50x and corner collectors sweep them up.
3. Vault Wreckers
RTP: 94.16%
Volatility: High
Min. bet: $0.20
Max bet: $40
Max win: 5,000x
Available in: Ontario
This is the first Betty Original title, and alongside cash, you can win Betty Coins from the vaults. Betty Blitz™ and Betty Spins™ are your route to them, on top of Giant Reels free spins, multipliers, jackpots and instant wins.
There’s nothing else like it in the lobby, if we do say so ourselves.
4. 3 Blazing Chilis: Hold & Win
RTP: 92.75%
Volatility: Low
Min. bet: $0.10
Max bet: $50
Max win: 3,817x
Provider: Octoplay
Available in: Ontario
Line wins are almost beside the point here. The base game is a formality; everything lives in the respin, where the chili colour sets the terms — green adds 1x a spin, yellow doubles random symbols, red opens extra rows. All 40 spots filled pays 2,500x.
5. Dancing Drums Tower
RTP: 94%
Volatility: Medium
Min. bet: $0.20
Max bet: $90
Max win: 11,000x
Provider: Light & Wonder
Available in: Ontario
Many grids stay the size you found them, but this one grows. 5×3 stretches to a 6-7-8-7-6 pyramid, and 243 ways becomes 14,112, with free spins still trading reel height against volatility. Nine years in, Light & Wonder finally lets the Fu Babies pick bonus trigger them.
6. Triple Cash Eruption The Western
RTP: 94.3%
Volatility: Medium
Min. bet: $0.20
Max bet: $50 ($70 in Alberta)
Max win: 10,000x (9,064x in Alberta)
Provider: IGT
Available in: Ontario and Alberta
Everything here rides on one feature. Cash bags trigger it and safes decide what it pays: coins, multipliers, collects, jackpots, and a Double Reels mode that mirrors the whole grid. Expanding wilds are all the base game has between triggers.
New month, new lineup
There’s lightning that cracks, a grid that grows, chilis that rewrite the rules, and a first for us with the launch of Vault Wreckers. Whichever you start with, decide what you’re comfortable spending first; your deposit, loss and time limits live in account settings.
